The purpose of this contract is to provide snow plowing, snow removal and sanding of the paved parking lots at Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center and Juneau Ranger District, snow plowing of the parking area at Skater’s Cabin and along Skater’s Cabin Road up to and including the West Glacier Trailhead parking lot, and snow plowing of the parking area at Auke Recreation Area. The project area is located near Juneau, Alaska and is accessible by road. The performance period is 180 calendar days. The solicitation will be posted on FedBizOpps website on or about November 30, 2004 for viewing and printing. Potential offerors are requested to download the solicitation from the Internet if at all possible. Alternatively, a hard copy of the solicitation documents may be requested via fax at 907.228.6254. Fax requests should reference solicitation KTN-05-09. Telephone requests will not be honored. Offers will be due approximately 30 calendar days after the solicitation issue date.
