This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

THIS PROCUREMENT IS A SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE PROCUREMENT. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Norfolk District has a requirement for Janitorial Services. The contractor shall provide all supervision, personnel, equipment, tools, materials, transportation and other items necessary to perform janitorial services. Janitorial service applies to all designated spaces, including, but not limited to, halls, restrooms, offices, work areas, entranceways, lobbies, common areas, test room areas and storage room areas. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract.

Offerors will be evaluated on submission of Request for Quotations (RFQ). The Government reserves the right to reject any or all quotes; and to award the contract to other than the lowest total price and to award to the Offeror submitting the lowest quote determined by the Government to be responsible. The contract duration is a base and four option years.

The estimated price range is below $25,000.00. The solicitation will be posted on/about January 10, 2013. The receipt date for quotes is on January 16, 2013 by 2:00 pm. SAM Registration must also be ACTIVE and current to be eligible for contract award.
