The Library of Congress Contracts and Grants Management Department intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit proposals from qualified organizations interested in providing Janitorial and Related Services at the NAVCC facility in Culpeper, Virginia. The Contractor will provide all necessary labor, supervision, management, equipment, tools, and other direct and indirect costs to provide janitorial, (including recycling), window washing and pest control service, for the National Audio Visual Conservation Center, 19053 Mount Pony Road, Culpeper County, VA. Services are for a facility of approximately 390,119 square feet. Contract period will be from date of award through twelve (12) months for the base period with a possibility of four (4) one-year option periods. It is anticipated that the solicitation/RFP will be released on or about Wednesday, January 24, 2007. The Government contemplates award of a combination firm fixed price and Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract. A Pre-Proposal Conference and Site Visit will be scheduled for 10:00 am, on Monday, February 5, 2007at the National Audio Visual Conservation Center, 19053 Mount Pony Road, Culpeper County, VA. Questions pertaining to the Pre-Proposal Conference and a list of company representative shall be submitted to the Contracting Officer no later than January 31, 2007.
