The United States Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has a requirement for grounds maintenance service at the National Weather Service Forecast Office located at 10009 General Mahone Highway, Wakefield, VA 23888, which is a 24/7 day a week operation. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to provide grounds maintenance at the above location. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The small business size standard is $6,500,000 average annual receipts. The NAICS code is 561730. The duration of the contract is one base year with four one-year options. The Government reserves the right to exercise the options. The solicitation, notice and all amendments will be posted and available for viewing and downloading on the Government Electronic Posting System (FedBizOpps) site at www.fedbizopps.gov. No paper copies will be issued. No telephone, facsimile or written request will be accepted. When the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. The solicitation will be issued as a commercial item acquisition on or about August 29, 2007, utilizing simplified acquisition procedures.
