IAW FAR 6.302-1 Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina hereby gives notice of intent to award sole source to CENTRAL TELEPHONE COMPANY OF NORTH CAROLINA, DBA: SPRINT, for the provision of a maintenance agreement for 1 (one) Meridian Phone System, local phone service to 10 (ten) lines, and long distance service to 6 (six) lines, located at various facilities within the Base Housing Division aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune Jacksonville, NC. This notice will result in the award of one base year contract and four 1-year Option Periods. Pricing proposed for Option years may be adjusted accordingly due to inflation, market fluctuations, etc. Duration of entire contract, to include all options, shall not exceed 5 years. Evaluations of Options will be IAW FAR 52.217-5. Options will be exercised IAW FAR 52.217-9. Only one Responsible Source and No other Supplies or Services will satisfy the Agency's Requirement. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed award based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
