NAVAL AIR STATION CORPUS CHRISTI FRESH WATER UTILITY THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL The Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southeast, Jacksonville, FL, intends to award a follow-on contract to N62467-70-C-0254 on a single source basis to the City of Corpus Christi – Water Department under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and 40 U.S.C. 113(e)(3) which authorizes the Department of Defense to acquire utility services for military facilities. This contract is for Fresh Water commodity service in support of NAS Corpus Christi. Contractor shall furnish, and the Government shall purchase and receive Fresh Water service as requested by the Government from the contractor. Interested Fresh Water providers may identify their interest and ability to meet the requirements stated herein and may submit their authority to provide service in the form of a tariff or ordinance. Submission must include providers valid Cage Code. FAR 52.214-34 applies. Small Business size standard is $7.0M. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
