This is a Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract for the modification of two (2) each Mobile Response Recovery Vehicles to accommodate additional sleeping quarters and work stations for a total of three (3) personnel to Boone's RV Repair. A justification of using other than full and open competition - simplified acquisition has been prepared. Boone's RV Repair specializes in RV conversions and due to vehicle location is the only company within 400 miles that can provide the experience and expertise necessary in a timely manner without incurring additional expense to transport both vehicles to a more distant location. This notice of intent is NOT a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for competitive quotes.
