Advertisement for Bids Notice is hereby given that a sealed bid will be received by the Lafayette Parish School System by the Purchasing Department located at 113 Chaplin Drive, Lafayette, LA 70508 for the following as delineated on the Proposal Form: Bids will be marked as follows: RV Bid Bid #20-12 Opening: October 20, 2011 @ 2:30 pm The bid #20-12 is for the purchase of a recreational vehicle for the mobile literacy program for the Lafayette Parish School System. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the above stated time and date in the Personnel Conference Room of the Lafayette Parish School System Office Building. Complete bidding documents may be obtained from the Purchasing Department of the Lafayette Parish School System located at 113 Chaplin Drive, Lafayette, LA 70508 or on the Purchasing Department website at www.lpssonline.com/purchasing. Bid information may also be viewed online, and electronic bids may be submitted online at www.centralauctionhouse.com/rfp.php?eid-87. Specifications will be available Friday, September 23, 2011. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause. In accordance with LA. R.S. 38:2212 (a)(1)(b), the provisions and requirements of this section, those stated in the Advertisement for Bids, and those required on the bid form shall not be waived by any public entity. Preference is hereby given to materials, supplies, and provisions produced, manufactured or grown in Louisiana, quality being equal to articles offered by competitors outside the state.
