This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS / SOLICITATION for construction prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation issued as Request for Proposal (RFP) 12837119Q0019. A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. FAR clauses and provisions enclosed within this RFP are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-59 and are available in full text through Internet access at http://www.acquisition.gov/far. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237310 and the small business size standard is $36.5 million. The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. All responsible small business concerns may submit an offer which shall be considered by the Forest Service. The Government requires performance of the work described in these documents for the Ruin Pit Crush and Stockpile located on the Kaibab National Forest. T20N R4E SEC30. From the intersection of Interstate 40 and highway 64 (Williams, AZ) proceed 1.5 miles east; turn south on Road 141 and proceed 8.1 miles to FSR 109; turn south on FSR 109 and proceed 5.5 miles; turn east on FSR 12 and proceed 4.2 miles; turn north on FSR 110 and proceed 1 mile; turn east on the pit access road (FSR 3285) and proceed 0.8 miles to the project site.
