This is a SOLICITATION for non-commercial items prepared in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures found at FAR Part 13, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. The synopsis was waived in accordance with FAR 5.202(13). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This solicitation SHALL be posted only on FEDBIZOPPS.
The Solicitation number, N6449818Q5006. The proposed contract action is for non-commercial items, in accordance with the Requirements Statement. The Product Service Code (PSC) for this requirement is 7021. The NAICS code is 334111 and the Small Business Standard 1250. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-97 and DFARS Change Notice 20180131. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Office intends to negotiate and award a sole source contract to Core Systems (Cage 4P5G1). The proposed acquisition is to purchase of rugged rack mount computers and KVM trays. It is necessary to procure the required hardware from Core Systems in order to ensure similar qualified parts. Core System has already provided the required hardware, similar systems and items. Procurement from another source would cause the Government to incur duplicate costs related to the program. This action will result in a firm fixed-price (FFP) purchase order.
The awarded contract for the above requirement is for non-commercial supplies for which the Government will solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b).
Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to future similar requirements, however, this notice is not intended to be a request for competitive proposals from any source. The Government will not pay for information submitted in response to this notice.
