Solicitation N00421-18-T-0016 is issued as a synopsis/solicitation.  Rugged GPS must be supplied by VectorNav.  Model Number VN-200 S-CR has been tested and confirmed to be compatible with other systems currently in use by the program.  The quoted item must be the exact P/N, which is able to withstand high vibration and shock conditions.  The Government intends to purchase on a brand name firm fixed-price basis and to solicit the proposed purchase order under the authority of FAR Part 12, FAR Part 13.  Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract.  This may be accomplished electronically at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM.
