The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a delivery order under Basic Ordering Agreement Contract N00019-12-G-0006 with the Bell-Boeing Joint Program Office on an ‘other than full and open' competitive basis to address reliability and fleet readiness. This effort includes Production and Retrofit Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) as well as the Recurring Retrofit procurement and installation of hinge fittings and bushings on the left and right rudder vertical stabilizers found on the of the MV and CV-22 Osprey aircraft.

Bell-Boeing possesses the requisite knowledge and expertise required to incorporate the Rudder Reliability Improvement change onto the V-22 production line, in an expeditious manner, without impacting cost and schedule. Bell-Boeing is the sole source managing database requirements for the MV/CV-22.
