The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a sole source IDIQ contract with firm fixed price orders to BAE Systems Information and Electronics of Greenlawn, New York (BAE), for FY19-23 requirements for the Receiver-Transmitter (RT)-1763C/APX-111(V) Mode 5 Combined Interrogator Transponders (CIT) and the RT-1763D/APX-111(V ) Mode 5 CIT.  This contract will also procure redesigned RT Shop Replaceable Assemblies (SRAs) Kits to convert a RT-1763C/APX-111(V) to a RT-1763D/APX-111(V), SRA spares, production support, repairs, and technical data. The FY19 basic contract will procure up to 252 Mode 5 CITs and up to 200 Mode 5 CIT Change Kits, up to 110 SRAs, and up to 138 Integrations and Repairs incident to modification. The FY20-23 Options will contain pricing for up to 929 Mode 5 CIT Change Kits, up to 440 SRAs, and up to 120 Integrations and Repairs incident to modification. The quantities listed above are approximations and may be increased slightly if funding permits. Engineering support may be procured in each year of the contract. This effort is being awarded on a sole source basis to pursuant to the provisions of FAR 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible Source".
