THE PURPOSE OF THIS PROJECT is to rehabilitate the existing pavement on the two street segments as follows: Panama Lane from State Route 99 to South “H” Street and Truxtun Avenue from Mohawk Street to Oak Street. THE WORK CONSISTS OF, in general, rehabilitating the asphalt concrete pavement, striping, pavement markings, adjustment of manholes, monuments, modification of access ramps and curb & gutter and traffic signal detector loops on the following two street segments: Panama Lane from State Route 99 to South “H” Street and Truxtun Avenue from Mohawk Street to Oak Street. The funding for these street segments will be through the Regional Surface Transportation Program (RSTP) and Local Gas Tax Funds. Proposed rehabilitation methods include full depth reconstruction and pavement resurfacing. The City will only receive construction bids from general contractors who have been approved to be on the Final Bidders List for this project. General contractors interested in submitting a construction bid for this project must first submit a Responsibility Statement and Questionnaire as described in this document. The City anticipates awarding multiple construction contracts in the range of $1,000,000 to 1,500,000 per contract.
