Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Atlantic intends to sole source a contract to R.S. Means Company, LLC, for the commercial purchase of the RSMeans Costworks software providing new and renovation construction data including work labor costs for the current and past calendar years.  The contract completion date will be 31 December 2021.  Only one responsible source is able to provide the type of service that will satisfy the agency requirements.  This sole source acquisition meets the conditions of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and this is not a request for competitive quotes; however, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements should contact Kari Webler at [email protected].   Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement and will be at the sole discretion of the Contracting Officer.  If no written responses are received by 12:00 PM ET, 17 January 2021, the contract will be awarded without further notice.  The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 511210, Software Publishers, and the SBA size standard is $41.5 million.  This synopsis is for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids or proposals.  Please contact Kari Webler at [email protected] in more information is needed.
