NOTICE OF PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION: Arnold Engineering and Development Center (AEDC), Arnold AFB, TN intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Linde Cryogenics, 6100 South Yale Avenue, Suite 1200, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74136 for refurbishment of Proprietary Koch Rotary Screw (RS), 1986 Model Helium Compressor Units. This notice is neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation of offers. Based on this requirement, the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement on a full and open competitive basis upon receipt of responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No formal solicitation package is available. Only written e-mailed ([email protected]) inquiries will be responded to and must be received no later than 2:00 PM CST, 10 January, 2012. The Government will not be responsible for any costs in the preparation of responses to this announcement.
