Recruiting Station Cleveland (RS CLE) has an aging cabling infrastructure of CAT3, CAT5, CAT6 and Coax. The current communications area is a small chain-link enclosure in a warehouse space that is not appropriately sized to accommodate a modern infrastructure. The primary objectives of this scope are to move the communications space to a larger location, install a complete CAT6 infrastructure, extend or re-run existing circuits as necessary to the new location, remove old infrastructure and insure system uptime between by using a phased approach. The new location must be wired to meet the requirements of Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP) with a Unified Communications (UC) infrastructure. This change will require installation of Category 6 (CAT6) cable, the installation of a conduit to the building demarcation point, establishment of pathways throughout the suite, and associated installation hardware.
