Special Notice

The Government intends to issue a modification (bridge/single source award) to Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), CAGE 79343, long term contract SPE7LX16D0125, to extend the contract period from January 19, 2022 through January 13, 2023.  This action will be completed by issuance of a single source award through a contract modification.  The contract award is for 20,325 NSNs that are commercial price listed items.  See attached excel spreadsheet.  This action is being pursued to ensure continued coverage of cage and part numbered NSNs listed while the successor long term contract (LTC) initiative is being evaluated and subsequently awarded.  The current long-term contract is scheduled to expire on January 18, 2022.  Information regarding the modification (bridge/single source award) can be obtained from the primary point of contact Cletus Schafrath ([email protected]).  The listed parts will be procured as “all or none” per NSN.  This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all responsible potential sources may submit an offer/quote to the point of contact above for consideration.  All offers shall be in the English language and in U. S. dollars.  Specifications, plans, or drawings are not available on these NSNs.  This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore the Government intends to solicit and contract with only the approved source under authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 ( 4 ) ( 1 ).  Currently the only long-term contracting arrangement is contract SPE7LX16D0125 for all of these items.  All terms and conditions as indicated in the current contract will remain the same for the contract period from January 19, 2022 through January 13, 2023.
