THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES.

Naval Medical Center San Diego intends to award a firm fixed price sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) and FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), only one responsible source, to:

The objective of this sole source award is to procure RotoProne Bed Therapy rental Service offers features and benefits designed to help aggressively treat patients with severe pulmonary complications. Sole source is based on proprietary reasons in that ARJOHUNTLEIGH INC is of a proprietary nature. ARJOHUNTLEIGH INC is the sole provider of the RotoProne Bed on the proprietary rent beds that prone. Due to the proprietary nature of this service, no other company was found that could access to provide rental bed should a problem arise.

The NAICS code for this requirement is 339112; the large business size standard is 500 employees.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. All information received by 2:00 PM Pacific Time on December 7, 2015 may be considered by the Government. Responses shall be submitted to Uyen Tran at [email protected].
