The City of West Palm Beach is accepting bids from FDOT pre-qualified and responsible contractors to provide all labor, materials and equipment necessary for a federally funded FDOT and City of West Palm Beach for streetscape and lighting improvements to the Rosemary Avenue Corridor. The improvements shall include, but are not limited to the upgrading of streetscape infrastructure by eliminating the vertical curb separation between the vehicular and pedestrian surfaces, providing new streetscape and landscape infrastructure and providing roadway and pedestrian improvements. During the construction of said improvements, the installation of lighting shall be at the locations (as noted by the construction plans) along the Rosemary Avenue Corridor, between 1st Street and Banyan Boulevard to 8th Street. The contractor shall comply with FDOT’s DBE program Plan approved by the USDOT. FDOT currently has a race neutral program with a 10.65% goal.
