This is a special notice of intent to award Sole Source procurement in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12.203 and FAR Part 13.5 with consideration given to FAR Part 5.202(a)(13), as supplemented with additional information included within to provide all labor, parts, tools, materials, and transportation necessary to provide 10 each, Sole Source, Ronan Magnetostrictive Probe, a probe which measures fuel level used by the X76CTM Tank Monitor; Manufacturer: Ronan Engineering Company; Part No: FEW402 (7100-RN-096-108). Delivery will be to Base Supply, 7100 Saber Road, Bldg 1284, F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming.

The proposed requirement is a SOLE SOURCE procurement and applies to the North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) 334514 with a size standard of 500 employees.

The proposed action is for supplies for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b). A determination not to compete this requirement is within the discretion of the Government. This notice is for information only. It is neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation for offers. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice.
