The contractor will be required to treat Units covering approximately 194 acres. Treatments include removal of commercially sized ponderosa pine trees and mastication of Gambel oak, other intermountain shrub species, pinyon pine, juniper, logging slash and existing down woody material. The goal of this project is to decrease the likelihood and severity of uncontrolled wildfire, improve wildlife habitat, and improve forest health.
