Rockingham Park at the Crossroads is a new multi-purpose facility featuring four cloverleaf baseball/softball fields and four multi-purpose football/soccer fields with press box, concession stands and playground area. The cloverleaf configuration at our Albert Long softball/baseball fields has led to numerous foul balls placing spectators at risk necessitating the installation of horizontal, overhead netting. Safety netting currently in place already provides spectator coverage greater than industry standards; however, Rockingham County is desirous of a superior system to further protect the safety of all persons in and around the softball/baseball complex.
