The Federal Highway Administration-Central Federal Lands Highway Division is seeking potential sources that are capable of providing stainless steel rockfall net and spike plate material for securing rock slopes and overhangs at the Point Bonita Bridge site at Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GGNRA) in Marin County, California.  The rockfall net is to be part of a retention system, where rock bolts on an approximate 5 foot grid-like spacing will be used to attach the net to the rock face.   2,300 square feet of High-Tensile 318 Stainless Steel Wire net meeting the specifications listed below is required.  Galvanized netting is not acceptable.  118 stainless work hardened steel spike plates meeting AISI 316 are also required.  Net installation and all other associated materials required for net installation (i.e. rock bolts, boundary rope, etc) will not be procured in at this time.

The supplier of the rock protection net must be certified to comply with ISO 9001.
