DISA/DITCO intends to issue a sole source contract for the renewal of expiring Rocket Software Catalog Solution products for DISA EIS. Rocket Software, Inc., has proprietary rights to the software code for the Catalog Solution software products associated with this requirement and is the only known source, along with its resellers, that can provide this maintenance support. No other vendor or distributor can legally obtain access to the software, and no other vendor can make duplicate copies since it is protected by copyright and patent laws.
The period of performance will be from 1 October 2014 through 30 September 2015. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Companies who can provide the above listed software renewal must complete a copy of the attached solicitation and submit it via email to [email protected]. Responses are due by 11:00 A.M. (Central Time) on 29 July 2014. The resultant contract will be firm fixed price. All responsible sources may submit a proposal that will be considered. The NAICS code is 541511 for this procurement.
