The purpose of this amendment is to answer questions received and extend the due date for quotes to 10:00 PM eastern local time, July 1st. All other terms and conditions remain the same. Q: What sequencing depth does the client require for this program? For example, identifying rare transcripts will require significantly deeper sequencing, which will affect cost per sample. Alternatively, a pricing matrix could be provided to allow the client to make a price/depth decision after receiving a proposal. Would this be preferred? A: We expect that the process would provide significant depth of sequencing that would identify rare sequences from a fairly homogeneous sample of between 500 nanograms to 1 microgram of total RNA sample submitted. Q: Is the client interested in small RNAs (i.e. miRNAs) as well as a separate sequencing service, or only mRNA transcripts? A: We will provide total RNA from which we would like mRNA sequencing only. Micro-RNA (miRNA) sequencing is not required. Q: What is the "sample type" that will be delivered to the performing lab? Purified RNA? Cell lysates? Cell pellets? A: We will provide the vendor roughly 1 microgram of purified total RNA from both controls and treated samples. Â
