The U.S. Department of Labor is recruiting to contract with Registerd Nurses, intermittently and part-time in Springfield, MO, Cape Girardea/Popular Bluff, MO, and the greater Kansas City area, to coordinate medical mangement of injured Federal workers. Contractual agreement is for a one year period with the option to renew based on performance. Minimum requirements are: applicable state licensure(s), case management experience in the workers' compensation/occupatinal health field and medical surgical experience for one (1) to three (3) years. Applicants must have computer skills and provide their own personal computers and internet connectivity to work on these cases. Due to privacy concerns, use of public access computers or public access internet is not acceptable. The reimbursement rate is $90.00 per hour for professional time and $45.00 for administrative/travel time. A two day certification training session in Kansas City, MO is manadatory. No reimbursement for travel or lodging for certification training is provided. Applicants selected as contract nurses will be subject to the Privacy Act of 1974 in all matters related to Federal employees and Federal employee records.
