Solicitation N0042121 Q0329 is issued as an intent to sole source.   The Government under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) FAR Part 13 intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis, and to solicit and award the proposed purchase order on a sole source basis with RMG, under the authority implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106-1(b).  RMG has proprietary rights to their Software and is the only company capable of providing maintenance support for their systems. Korbyt software is utilized for the purpose of timely, efficient and effective communication and display throughout multiple organizations within the Navy.

Offerors must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. This may be accomplished electronically at http://www.sam.gov.

This procurement is a total set-aside for small business under the authority of FAR Part 52.219-6.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes.  A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.  Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.  The government will not pay for any information received.

 If a bid is received from another vendor, you must be an authorized distributer with RMG and will need to be able to keep RMG Warranty.
