The Contractor shall: Provide a new vertical turbine pump and motor assembly to replace Lower Level Pond (LLP) Pump 2 (LLP-2), conforming to the design and performance requirement described in these specifications. The new pump shall dimensionally fit into the existing pump well space, is capable of meeting the performance conditions noted in the Pump Schedule, and attaches to the existing pump discharge piping, without modifications to existing piping or pump base. Provide a pump and motor assembly of the materials of construction noted in this specification. Provide labor and equipment to deliver the new pump assembly to the site and install the pump over the existing pump pond opening. Re-connect the new pump¿s discharge head to the existing discharge piping. Allow time and consideration for the existing instrumentation and electrical re-connections to be performed by plant staff. Make all mechanical connections to make the pump functional and operable. Provide a new vertical turbine pump and motor assembly. The pump and motor assembly shall be suitable for operation within the existing pump well.
