This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number SPM4A8-11-X-0001 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ) and the solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular.

Description: Provide rigging service as follows: Offload, from in coming trucks, rigging and set in place one 36" Bullard Vertical Turrent Lathe (VTL) and one 54" Bullard VTL. Relocate 36" VTL from Column A8 to J15. The items are located at Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Building 171, Shop 31, Portsmouth, VA 23709-5000.

This requirement is being solicited in accordance with FAR 6.2, 100% small business set-aside. The required performance period is 30 calendar days after receipt of order. FOB at Destination and Inspection/Acceptance at Destination.
