The Included Timber is fire salvage as a result of the Rim Fire that burned in September of 2013.
The intent of this project is to harvest commercial and non-comercial timber in the Ridge Fire Salvage Project area. Additionally, erosin control, slash treatment, tilling, road maintenance and treatment of stumps will be required. Mandatory Items of 752 and 45 acres will include options to either fall, skid and pile/deck all material over 4" DBH at the pre-designated landing landing OR fall, skid and pile/deck all material from 4" DBH to 20" DBH and haul to a disposal facility OR fall, skid and pile/deck all material over 4" DBH and haul to a disposal facility. Optional items include road reconstruction for severla sections of roads;an additional 262 acres harvest and either remove to the landing or remove to a disposal facility. 
Road Reconstruction will be construction work and prevailing wages will be required. The NAICS code for this work is 237310.
