The Riverside County Department of Waste Resources receives various types of appliances from business and residential customers at five (5) of its solid waste landfills. Appliances collected at our landfills in the desert are transported by County staff to either its Lamb Canyon or Badlands Landfills for recycling. Contractor will be contacted to perform refrigerant recovery services at these two landfills, an estimated minimum of twice per month (once for each landfill). The number of services per month may vary based on the quantity of appliances received at the landfills. Service addresses are included in Section 12.0.
