The County of Riverside Purchasing on behalf of Department of Animal Services (DAS) and the County of Riverside Code Enforcement are seeking proposals from qualified parties to provide Answering Services in support of our mission as outlined under Exhibit “A” Scope of Services, Attachment “A” DAS Script Guidelines Sample, Attachment “B” DAS Daily Call Log Sample, and Attachment “C” Code Enforcement Daily Call Log Sample. The Contractor shall enter into an agreement with the County of Riverside as detailed in Exhibit “B”, Agreement Sample. The COUNTY shall only accept tier rates that are inclusive of faxes, messages, texts, screened calls, or any applicable fees as outlined under Section 7.0 “Cost Proposals.” DEPARTMENT OF ANIMAL SERVICES Our mission is to provide protection for the public and animal welfare through various services which may consist of emergency services, animal registering, and shelter management, for the County of Riverside. The Department has four animal shelters located throughout the County of Riverside. The Department provide animal services for geographical areas that cover all unincorporated areas of the County and holds contracts with various incorporated Cities within the geographical boundary districts of the County of Riverside. The city incorporated areas are subject to change at any time. Below you will find a list of the Contract Cities that may participate in the Answering Services Call Program: Blythe Eastvale Calimesa Cathedral City (Services request must come through their Police Dept.) Coachella Desert Hot Springs Hemet Indian Wells Indio Jurupa Valley La Quinta Palm Desert Palm Springs (mutual aid requests from their Police Dept.) Rancho Mirage Riverside San Jacinto The key principle and outcome expectation is that the successful contractor provide answering services to the public in the highest standards that occur outside normal business hours or may be applicable upon request during normal business hours in case of an emergency or all staff meetings as detailed in Exhibit “A”, “Scope of Services”. Department expenses average approximately $35,000 annually. The Department shall not be held liable to any dollar amount. The need for answering services fluctuates based on the number of calls. The Department has six locations located throughout the County of Riverside. The Department provides services for geographical areas that cover all unincorporated areas of the County. The key principle and outcome expectation is that the successful CONTRACTOR shall provide Answering Services on a daily and as-needed basis as detailed under Exhibit A, Scope of Services. The CONTRACTOR shall bill the COUNTY on a monthly basis for answering services rendered to the COUNTY as outlined below: Costs are to be based on the scope defined in Exhibit A, Scope of Services. CONTRACTOR costs shall be based on tier rates that are inclusive of faxes, messages, texts, screened calls, or any applicable fees. Department expenses average approximately $20,000 annually. The Department shall not be held liable to any dollar amount. The need for answering services fluctuates based on the number of calls.
