INTENT : This quote will result in the immediate purchase and delivery of a Velo Blend (brand) no substitute (Model 2400) Liquid Polymer Blending System for the City and borough of Juneau (CBJ) Wastewater Treatment Division. The CBJ currently owns and operates one of these machines at the Mendenhall Plant This purchase is for an identical machine to be used at the Juneau Douglas Wastewater Treatment Plant. SUBMISSION : Timely responses are accepted via Electronic Submission * at Public Purchase www.publicpurchase.com the CBJ’s eProcurement Provider. (*Vendors must complete the quick, easy, and free online registration to be able to submit a response.)Late responses will not be accepted. ADDENDA : Any changes to CBJ issued documents will be in the form of an addendum to the quote. Addenda are issued as promptly as is practical to all plan holders. All such addenda shall become part of the quote. PRICE & F.O.B. POINT : Quote price is to include all related costs, including shipping and delivery to the final destination or FOB Point. Shipping costs must be imbedded into the unit price. F.O.B. destination is: The City and Borough of Juneau, Juneau/Douglas Treatment Plant, located at, 1540 Thane Road, Juneau, Alaska, 99801, ATTN: Randall Brown, MWTP Operator. DELIVERY DATE : Delivery at the final destination is requested within (90) ninety calendar days after receipt of order (ARO). Indicate on the Bidder's Signature Page , the number of calendar days required for delivery. QUANTITIES : The City anticipates issuing a purchase order for the quantities listed. If additional quantities are needed CBJ may ask the Vendor to honor any pricing submitted for the duration of the current fiscal year. The City does not guarantee any minimum or maximum orders. NO SUBSTITUTE : When a specific brand name or item and the words no substitute is specified, no other brands or item will be accepted. ACCEPTANCE & RETURNS : The City reserves the right to determine suitability of items offered. All goods or materials are subject to approval by the City. Any items rejected because of non-conformity of the terms and conditions or specifications of this contract, whether held by the City or returned, will be at the Contractor's risk and expense. PARTS, INSTRUCTION PLATES & MANUALS : The manufacturer must guarantee parts availability for a minimum of ten (10) years or the reasonable life of the units, whichever is greater. Where significant procedures are required, instruction plates must be provided at locations readily visible and as near as possible to the affected area. One (1) shop repair manual and OEM Parts Manual or CD Rom will be furnished at time of delivery. PRIOR TO FINAL AWARD : The Apparent low bidder will be required to submit Engineering & Documentation Documents as identified in the Technical Specifications. AWARD : Award will be made by Total Quote to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder meeting all requirements. In the event the primary Contractor cannot meet their obligation, the City will contract with the next available Contractor and will hold the original Contractor responsible for any incidental and consequential damages incurred.
