The University of Houston System invites you to submit a proposal to fulfill identified well-being/work-life needs of UH employees. The Human Resources Employee Wellness program provides information and services to assist faculty and staff in their health and well-being and efforts to enjoy productive and more satisfying lives. The program is designed to promote a culture where the whole person can succeed, and would like to provide employees with resources in the following areas: Employee Assistance/Counseling, and Financial and Legal Resources, Parenting and Child Care, Aging and Elder Care, and Employee Health and Well-being. The HR Employee Wellness program seeks to provide services including but not limited to Employee Assistance Programs/Counseling (e.g. Stress, depression, anxiety, Grief, Anger, Resilience, Substance Abuse), Financial Literacy (e.g. Budgeting, Financial Planning, Retirement, Social Security), Legal Resources (e.g. Estate Planning, Dispute Resolution, Identity Theft), Parenting and Child Care (e.g. Child Care Options, Parenting Resources, Adoption Resources, Healthy Pregnancy), Aging and Elder Care (e.g. Caregiver Resources, Alzheimer’s, Elder Care Services), and Employee Health and Wellness (e.g. Exercise, Nutrition, Stress/Time Management, Weight Loss, Sleep, Health Assessments and Screenings). Respondents are encouraged to propose contractual arrangements offering the maximum benefit to the University in terms of (1) services to the University, (2) total overall cost to the University, and (3) project management expertise. Proposers should describe all educational, state, and local government discounts, as well as any other applicable discounts that may be available to the University in a contract for Services. RESPONDENTS ARE CAUTIONED TO READ THE INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THIS RFP CAREFULLY AND TO SUBMIT A COMPLETE RESPONSE TO ALL REQUIREMENTS AND QUESTIONS AS DIRECTED.
