REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS TO PROVIDE GARBAGE TRUCK WITH PROVISIONS FOR EXISTING TRADE-IN RFP#21-012-46 Northwest Mississippi Community College is issuing a Request for Proposals to provide a new garbage truck with provisions to trade in the existing garbage truck for the Department of the Physical Plant. Qualified entities are invited to submit proposals, in accordance with this request, to Northwest Mississippi Community College at 4975 Highway 51 North, Senatobia, MS 38668, not later than 4:00 p.m. local time on Wednesday, December 2, 2020. The proposals will be opened and reviewed by committee at the Northwest Mississippi Community College in Senatobia, Mississippi. The contract will be awarded to the responsible offeror whose proposal is within the competitive range and determined to be the most advantageous to the project. Submission of proposals for this solicitation may also be done electronically through the Central Bidding website. Proposals can be submitted at www.centralbidding.com. Those desiring consideration should submit 1 original proposal and 4 copies by 4:00 p.m. local time on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 and must include the following: 1. Capacity- Identify the quality of goods or services being offered based on the specifications listed in the RFP Specifications, service capabilities, warranty offerings, completing the requested information, and three (3) references. 2. Experience – Qualifications and experience of proposed personnel and evidence of successful performance with similar accounts or operations. 3. Price – Costs, including trade in value on existing equipment, and ability to execute the contract in a timely manner. All proposals will be rated on the following system to determine the best offeror: Capacity – 40, Experience – 20, Price – 40, to Total: 100 points.
