1) SCOPE: Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 2165.001, Custodianship of State Property, and Section 2156.121, Use of Competitive Sealed Proposals, the Texas Facilities Commission is requesting responses to this Request for Proposal for the management of commercial use of a State parking facility (Lot 2) located at the GJ Sutton State Office Complex, 321 N. Center St., San Antonio, TX and owned by the Texas Facilities Commission. Parking operations will include, but are not limited to, Special Events utilizing the San Antonio property in conjunction with the following: a) Alamodome events b) Hemisfair Park events c) Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center events and d) Special Events requested to be held on the State Property surface lot 2) CONTRACT TERM: This service shall be for a period beginning on the date the contract, as defined below, is executed by both parties, and shall expire on August 31, 2021. The contract may be renewed for two (2) additional two (2) year period, provided the renewal is executed prior to expiration of the current contract term. Any renewals shall be in writing and at the same terms and conditions, plus any approved changes. a) MANDATORY PRE-PROPOSAL TELECONFERENCES: The Pre-Proposal Teleconferences are scheduled for: Pre-Proposal Teleconference 1 April 14, 2020 9:00 AM Pre-Proposal Teleconference 2 April 15, 2020 9:00 AM Pre-Registration is required. Respondents interested in submitting a response will need to register for a Bonfire account (No charge) to submit a response.
