Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals for competitive contracting, not subject to public bidding pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-4.1 will be received by the County Purchasing Agent of the County of Salem. The following services have been established as priorities: For Providing Two Handicapped Accessible Vans for the Office on Aging in the County of Salem Specifications may be obtained daily between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM from the Salem County Purchasing Department, Fifth Street Office Complex, and 110 Fifth Street, Suite 400, Salem, New Jersey 08079 Or they may be mailed on telephone request (856) 935-7510, extension 8401 or e-mail request to [email protected] . Responses shall be made on the forms and submitted in the manner designated within the specifications. They shall be enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the legend, “For Providing Two Handicapped Accessible Vans for the Office on Aging in the County of Salem” on the outermost package. Respondents must submit one Original (clearly marked “Original”) and two complete hard copies of their responses. The proposals shall be returned to the Salem County Purchasing Department, Attn: Stephen Hoffman – Purchasing Assistant, 110 5th Street, Salem, NJ 08079 no later than Thursday, 07/13/2023 at 1:00 pm prevailing time, when they will be opened and read in public at Salem County Offices, 110 Fifth Street, Conference Room 400, Salem, NJ 08079. Late bids will not be considered. Respondents are required to comply with requirements of NJSA 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 regarding Equal Employment Opportunity Laws and regulations as well as P.L. 1975, C. 127 (N.J.A.C. 17:27) Affirmative Action and P.L. 1977, C. 33 (N.J.S.A. 52-25-24.2) Corporate Disclosure.
