During the ongoing implementation of NextGen across the nation, the Charlotte area saw changes in long-standing flight routes. These changes, part of the Charlotte Optimization of Airspace (Metroplex), led to a number of newly impacted residents complaining about aircraft noise. The City of Charlotte is seeking a Technical Consultant to assist with the progress of the Charlotte Douglas Airport Community Roundtable.
