The Housing Authority of the County of San Joaquin (Authority) is seeking proposals from licensed Class B General Building Contractors, or C-29 Masonry Contractor (Contractor) to demolish existing block wall and existing foundation. Install an approximately 650-feet, 7-foot-tall new CMU Wall, its foundations and remove and remount two (2) existing gates at its Sierra Vista Boys & Girls Club facility located at 1700 E. Eleventh Street, Stockton, CA 95206. There are four (4) 6-inch diameter, or under wall drainage needed to create a storm drainage flow under the new CMU wall. A non-mandatory pre-bid walk-through will be held on-site at 9:00 A.M. local time on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at 1700 E. Eleventh Street, Stockton, CA 95206. All questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted to the PublicPurchase.com website by 5:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 1, 2023. P roposals must be sealed, reference RFP No. 2223-023, and be physically delivered before 3:00 P.M. local time on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, to HACSJ Office located at 2575 Grand Canal Boulevard, Stockton, CA 95207 (Attention: Abraham Lopez). Proposals received after this time will not be considered. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to waive any informality in the bidding. Proposals may be held by the Authority for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of proposals for the purpose or reviewing the proposals and investigating the qualifications of the proposers prior to awarding the Contract. No proposal shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of proposals without the consent of the Authority.
