Scope of Work Part One: Exterior Façade Renewal for Center for Conferences & Institutes Building Providing professional architectural services for Level II & III design services to include, but not limited to, the following: Develop and design an energy-efficient building envelope system and aesthetically pleasing exterior façade renewal for the Center for Conferences & Institutes Building. LCCC desires to have this exterior façade renewal construction project fully completed by September of 2024, with an estimated total project cost of $3,000,000. Conduct pre-design, conceptual design, design and construction documentation, and all necessary construction bidding documents. Conduct project administration and management. Conduct construction administration and any necessary post-construction activities. Scope of Work Part Two: Long-Term Exterior Façade Renewal Plan Develop a long-term exterior façade renewal plan for the remaining three buildings included in Phase 1 (Administration Building, Training Center, Fine Arts Building), as well as the buildings included in Phases 2 – 4 (Automotive Tech Building, Science Center, Community College Center, Career & Tech Ed Building, ARP Building, Education & Enrichment Center, Crossroads Building, Foundation Hall, and the Ag Building & Arena Complex). The long-term exterior façade renewal plan must include a compelling and intentional vision that would establish an aesthetically pleasing approach, such that once all buildings are completed, the buildings would fit well together visually, and appear well planned and thought out. This scope also includes having the architect prepare any design documentation & proposal packages LCCC may need in seeking legislative funding. It is anticipated that this may be needed in the March – April 2024 timeframe. LCCC expects that Scope of Work Part One and Scope of Work Part Two will occur roughly in parallel sequence, such that the final design for the Center for Conferences & Institutes Building integrates well with the long-term exterior façade renewal plan.
