REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) #024-001 FACILITY SECURITY SERVICES The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to establish a Contract with one (1) qualified and experienced Contractor to provide fixed post and mobile security guard services at VRE’s two (2) Maintenance and Storage Facilities (MSF) and various other VRE facilities, which include rail stations, parking lots and construction sites. If potential Offerors are accessing a copy of the RFP via VRE’s website, be advised that it is your responsibility to monitor this site for any addenda. Failure to submit a signed addenda may be grounds to declare a Proposal non-responsive. If there is a question about the closing date, the date printed on the RFP is the most current. A non-mandatory pre-proposal meeting to discuss the requirements of this solicitation with prospective Offerors will be held on September 20, 2023, at 10:00 A.M. Eastern Time at VRE's Crossroads MSF, located at 9400 Crossroads Parkway, Fredericksburg, VA 22408. Immediately following the pre-proposal meeting, a non-mandatory site visit will be held at the following locations: VRE's Crossroads MSF located at 9400 Crossroads Parkway, Fredericksburg, VA 22408, followed by VRE's Broad Run MSF, located at 10637 Piper Lane, Bristow, VA 20136. Any changes to the RFP as a result of the pre-proposal meeting and site visits will be issued through a written addendum to the solicitation. Proposals are due October 11, 2023, by 2:00 P.M.
