REQUEST FOR INFORMATION # 02PA2100404 For Scales, Graphical Firing Tables (GFTs) The US General Services Administration, on behalf of the US Army, through this advertised sources sough announcement, is soliciting the marketplace for any qualified entity that can provide the required equipment as described herein. This public release in no way shall bind or obligate either the Government or any parties of intere4st to any agreement that can be enforceable by law, nor shall any commitments be realized by any parties as a result of any responses submitted, in response to this public release. Scope: The contractor shall fabricate 50 sets of GFTs to meet the form, fit and function requirements as set forth in Detailed Specification DTL13017062, Revision B. A set consists of one (1) each of the following; NSN 1220-01-577-0837, NSN 1220-01-577-0832 and NSN 1220-01-577-0835. Requests for Deviations and/or Waivers to the requirements of the Detailed Specification shall be provided to the Government Contractor Officer for disposition. The GFT data to be printed on the scale surface will be furnished by the Government in electronic files using the following format: PDF. The Government is responsible for the accuracy of all the data provided. The contractor will rebuild the electronic files for improved printing registration and viewing, The contractor, at the end of the contract, will deliver all electronic files in either of the following formats: TIFF; JPEG: or DWG. Scale Requirement: The contractor will fabricate the following using appropriate plastic materials and printing processes. The files will be provided to contractor by means of a compact disc. The Government is responsible for the correctness and accuracy of this information. The contractor’s responsibility is to assure that the printing is sharp evenly colored without skips or breaks and shall not touch each other or any line of the scale. The printing surface will be free from stains or imperfections. Packaging Requirements: Scales will be placed in appropriate cloth carrying cases as described in Detailed Specification DTL 13017062. The number of scales in each carrying case shall be 4 or less. Each set of scales shall be packaged and marked separately. All shipping boxes shall be packaged and marked in accordance with commercial standards unless specified otherwise in the contract. Inspection and Acceptance Requirements: Inspection and Acceptance of all shall be at the source of manufacture. First Article Inspection in accordance with the Detailed Specification DTL13017062 may be required at the discretion of the Government. Delivery Requirements: Delivery of all items will occur within 90 days from date of award.
