The Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) is releasing this Request for Information (RFI) #22-048 to gather information and solicit input from Interested Parties with regards to conducting an independent evaluation of the effectiveness of the Community Assistance, Recovery, and Empowerment (CARE) Act. Work to support this independent evaluation may include, but is not limited to, development of logic models and hypotheses utilizing accepted statistical research methodology; comparative or quasi-experimental design to assess the extent to which CARE participation is associated, correlated, or causally related with program outcome measures; and impact of the program on improving health equity. This RFI is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. A response to this RFI is not an offer and cannot be accepted by the State to form a binding contract. Respondents are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI.¿DHCS asks willing Respondents to share nonbinding budgetary pricing information for each identified solution where requested.
