The City of Kennewick will receive sealed bids for Contract P2011-24 “Quinault & Columbia Center Blvd. Intersection Improvements” at the Dan Frost Municipal Services Building, 1010 E. Chemical Drive, Kennewick, WA. 99336, until November 19, 2024 at 10:00 A.M, then be publicly opened and read aloud in the Frost Building Main Conference Room. This Contract provides for the improvement of W. Quinault Ave and Columbia Center Blvd Intersection. Improvements consist of providing a second left-turn lane for added turning capacity for eastbound traffic turning north onto Columbia Center Blvd. A dedicated through-lane and right-turn to be constructed for westbound traffic on Quinault Ave. An additional lane shall be constructed southbound on Columbia Center Blvd. that will turn into the Red Lion parking lot. The proposed work will require widening the intersection that will include new curb, gutter, sidewalk, traffic curbing, retaining walls, storm drainage, HMA overlay, new striping, signage and a new signal system (pre-purchased by the City). Also this proposed work will be in preparation for extending a 3rd lane for north and southbound traffic on Col. Center Blvd. south of the intersection.
