The National Park Service (NPS), Petrified Forest National Park intends to procure 31 five-gallon potted trees with installation at the visitor center parking area. The proposed contract will be a firm fixed price (FFP) awarded as a small business set aside; the size standard is $10M.
The contractor will be required to provide the following: Celtis reticulata (netleaf hackberry) 6 ea; Chilopsis linearis (desert willow) 4 ea; Fraxinuis anomala (singleleaf ash) 6 ea; Gleditsia triacanthos (honey locust) 3 ea; Quercus emoryi (Emory oak) 4 ea; Quercus gambelii (Gambel oak) 5 ea; Robinia neomexicana (New Mexican locust) 3 ea; and, all labor, materials, supplies, and equipment necessary to install the trees. The contractor will also be required to perform some grading and remove two concrete pads approximately 3 feet by 3 feet.
A solicitation will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at https://www.fbo.gov on or about 5 Jul 11. The solicitation will close on or about 12 Jul 11. Hardcopies of the solicitation will not be provided. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to monitor this website to download applicable documents and check for amendments. Award is anticipated on or about 22 Jul 11. Delivery will be free on board (FOB) destination at an estimate 30 days after award. Prospective offerors desiring to conduct business with NPS are requested to register at the National Business Center (NBC) at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. To receive any contract award, contractors must register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at https://www.bpn.gov/ccr/ and complete electronic annual representations and certifications at https://orca.bpn.gov.
