The US Naval Hospital Guam intends to negotiate and award a purchase order with Synthes USA or one of their authorized distributors for the procurement of Retrograde/Antegrade Femoral Nails EX (14 CLINS). These Nails shall be used for surgical procedures. The Nails match the system already in place at this medical treatment facility, and is being purchased for the purpose of standardization. Synthes USA is the sole manufacturer of these Retrograde/Antegrade Femoral Nails. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation will be issued and phone calls are not accepted. Determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
