ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Cartersville Public Works offices located at 330 South Erwin Street, Cartersville, Georgia 30120 until: SEPTEMBER 22, 2020 AT 2 PM EST for the furnishing of all materials, labor, tools, skill, equipment and incidentals unless noted otherwise for the construction of the project entitled: RESURFACING OF VARIOUS CITY STREETS CARTERSVILLE PROJECT NO. PW-2020-LMIG The principal items of construction are: Deep patching, milling, leveling, resurfacing and striping of various City Streets for approximately 4.23 centerline miles of resurfacing, which includes all or parts of Center Road, Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Anderson Street, Pittman Street, Ford Street, and Walnut Grove Road. All work shall be performed according to the Georgia D.O.T. Standards and Specifications. Road mileage is subject to change and depends upon the availability of funding. Specifications and contract documents are open to public inspection at the City of Cartersville Public Works offices located at 330 South Erwin Street, Cartersville, Georgia 30120. They are also available at http://www.cityofcartersville.org/bids.aspx The Public Works offices may be contacted by telephone at 770.387.5602 or by mail at P.O. Box 1390, Cartersville, Georgia 30120. One Contract shall be awarded covering all work with a completion date of June 15, 2021. Bidders must agree to pay as liquidated damages the sum of $500.00 per each consecutive calendar day thereafter.
