OSPI seeks a consultant to convene and facilitate a workgroup focused on student restraint and isolation. The workgroup will identify trauma informed strategies, approaches, and curricula for supporting students in distress and with challenging behaviors that prioritize relational safety. The project will conclude with a written report to education committees of the legislature, the governor's office, and the education ombuds by December 1, 2022.
