DAVID DOUGLAS SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 40 RESTORATIVE PRACTICES Proposals Due 2:00 pm, April 22, 2020 REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS RFP Number 3.20.20.1 David Douglas School District No. 40 ("DISTRICT") is requesting written proposals for a qualified firm to work with the DISTRICT to build the capacity of the DISTRICT staff to implement (through direct training, a "Train-the-Trainer" model, or a hybrid thereof) restorative practices in their daily interactions and teaching methods with students while building relationships. The desired outcome of this Request for Proposals is to have all staff in the DISTRICT regularly using restorative practices in their setting. Solicitation documents may be obtained after 2:00 p.m. on March 20, 2020. Proposals will be publicly accepted in the Business Office until April 22, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. Pacific Time. The District reserves the right to reject any proposal not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all proposals upon a finding of the District it is in the public interest to do so. Proposals that do not meet the response requirements may not be considered by David Douglas School District. No proposal will be received or consid ered by the District unless the bid contains a statement as to whether the Proposer is a resident bidder as defined in ORS 279A.120.
